Referral Routes. How do you make an appointment? Do you need to see your family doctor/ GP or specialist first? Initial Assessment. What will a first appointment be like? What will it cover? Who should attend? What can be expected by the end of it? Treatment. What are the different types of therapy that you or your child might be offered and what are the differences between them? How is the decision made as to which one might be best for you? What will treatment involve and how long will it take?	Fees and Funding Patients may be funded independently or via health insurance. Fees Fees are available on request. Please contact Dr Krasner’s Practice directly. How to pay You will be invoiced by post after each appointment. If you intend to pursue reimbursement from your private health insurance please check all policy details and claim arrangements. Note that these may include specific requirements (such as a General Practitioner’s or specialist’s referral letter) prior to commencing assessment or treatment consultations in order to validate your claim. Invoices may then be forwarded to your private health insurers for settlement directly with Dr Krasner. Please ensure that you include relevant membership details and claim authorisation number(s) with all forwarded invoices. In attending appointments with Dr Krasner, you agree to have full responsibility for payment of all fees, whether or not these are covered in full or in part by your private health insurance. If your private health insurance does not cover the fees in full, you agree to pay the difference between the fees and the private health insurance reimbursement. Alternatively, if you prefer to settle invoices personally, receipt(s) will be issued to enable you to seek reimbursement from your health insurer. Patients paying privately should make cheques payable to Dr S Krasner. Receipt(s) will be issued upon request. Payments may also be made by BACS transfer. Relevant bank account details are given on the invoices. Regretfully, credit and /or debit cards are not accepted.
