How to Find the Practice

The Psychology Practice is located in a pretty cottage within the beautiful grounds of West Clayton, overlooking the fields of Hall Farm in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire. It provides a peaceful, professional and private setting for consultations for you and / or your children with ease of access: The Psychology Practice is just 5 minutes’ drive from junctions 17 and 18 on the M25. Ample free car parking is available. In addition, The Psychology Practice is just 10 - 15 minutes’ walk or a 2-3 minute taxi ride from Chorleywood station, which is on both the Metropolitan tube line and the Chiltern Railways fast, 27 minute service from London Marylebone. A taxi service, Tudor Cars, is available adjacent to the station.

By car

  • From north west London: Pinner, Hatch End, Northwood, etc
  1. Take the A404 towards Rickmansworth.
  2. Berry Lane can be accessed via:
    • Church Lane /Shepherds Lane off Uxbridge Road in Rickmansworth; or
    • Valley Road off Chorleywood Road in Rickmansworth; or
    • Dog Kennel Lane off Rickmansworth Road in Chorleywood; or
    • Common Road/Common Gate Road in Chorleywood.
  3. The entrance to West Clayton is located on Berry Lane, between Common Gate Road and Shepherds Lane. 
  4. On arrival, drive through the entrance and straight ahead, past the left fork to Hall Farm. You will see a block paving parking area to your right. The Psychology practice is located in the cottage with the blue door to your left.
  • From the M25 (approximately 5 minutes from Junction 18)

1. Exit the motorway at Junction 18 towards Amersham/ Little Chalfont on the A404.
2. Continue from instruction 2 (above)

  • By public transport

The Metropolitan tube line and Chiltern over ground service both stop at Chorleywood Station.
A taxi service, Tudor Cars (01923 285452) is located adjacent to the station. The Psychology Practice is 2-3 minute taxi ride from the station, or a 10 – 15 minute walk (using either the main roads or the shorter route via the pedestrian alleyway).

The Journey Planner at www.tfl.gov.uk provides all necessary train times, plus further directions and a map of the route to walk from Chorleywood Station to West Clayton. Simply enter the postcode, WD3 5EX as your destination in the Journey Planner.
